Dave Maultsby was the luck winner this month and grabbed the $4.00 kitty!
It's happened to one of our own (at least someone in the metal detecting hobby). Maurice Richardson, of Newark, Notts (England),
found an ancient necklace while detecting a ploughed farm field near his home.

At first sight he thought it was scrap metal but soon discovered that it was something more.

He has been metal detecting for more than 30 years and this is the first time that he has found anything worth more than 100 British
pounds.

“It came out [of the ground] as though I had bought it from the shop yesterday” were Maurice’s words. “It shone, it was solid and
perfect in every way. That is what the hobby is all about.”
